Frequently asked questions
Why paraglide in Chamonix?
Flying is wonderful. Flying in this panorama is truly exceptional — one of the most beautiful paragliding sites in the world.
The in-flight views are breathtakingly beautiful.
There is something for everyone! Children, adults, seniors, athletes, thrill-seekers, adrenaline hunters, or simply those looking to enjoy the flight closest to nature and the view: a timeless moment, calm and contemplative.
We never run out of reasons to fly in Chamonix.
Take-off and access to the launch site are easy.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes, you can bring a camera or your phone. It is your responsibility.
It must be secured so it cannot fall.
We fly over the town, so we cannot risk injuring anyone.
We offer an in-air photo and video service. We are used to filming you in this magnificent panorama. This allows you to fully enjoy your flight. You will leave with beautiful souvenir images. We transfer them directly to your phone, or to an SD card if you don't have enough storage on your phone.
What should I bring?
Bring your phone so we can find each other at the meeting point... and to transfer the photos and videos from your flight.
In summer, dress as if you were going for a short mountain hike: a windbreaker, trousers, sports shoes and sunglasses.
In winter, dress as if you were going skiing. Wear ankle boots, après-ski boots, or snowboard boots. Ski boots are not recommended. Don't forget your gloves, sunglasses or ski goggles.
Don't bring a helmet — we have a certified helmet for you.
Don't bring a backpack — there is no room to take it on the flight.
Where is the best spot for companions?
We recommend that companions wait at the landing area.
It is great for them and for you to be welcomed upon landing. They will be there to share your first impressions and see the size of your smile! Ask them to come to the meeting point with you — the landing zone is not far. We will tell them who you are flying with and the colour of the wing to spot you in the sky.
They can also accompany you to the take-off, in which case they will need a return ticket for the chosen site.
