Gain altitude and live a unique experience facing Mont Blanc. The discovery flight from Planpraz-Brévent is one of the most beautiful paragliding flights in Europe! At 2050m altitude, the panoramic view over the Mont Blanc massif and its glaciers is breathtaking. After a gentle take-off, soar through the sky on a wonderful aerial journey with your state-certified pilot. Experienced and caring, they will help you fulfil a dream — flying like a bird.
This flight with 1000m of altitude drop lasts between 15 and 25 minutes. Take-off is from the Brévent ski area, accessible by gondola from the centre of Chamonix. Total activity duration: approximately one hour.

Accessibility
Accessible to everyone from age 4, with no upper age limit. Passengers weighing less than 45 kg or more than 85–90 kg must inform us at the time of booking.

Summer – Autumn: 13 June to 20 September, 17 October to 1 November
Winter – Spring: 12 December to 18 April.
Equipment
In summer: windbreaker, trousers, sports shoes, sunglasses.
In winter: ankle boots or après-ski boots, warm clothing, gloves, sunglasses or ski goggles. Ski boots not recommended.

No helmet or backpack needed.
Meeting point
Meet at the foot of the Planpraz Brévent gondola, opposite the ticket offices. Accessible on foot from the centre of Chamonix or by car (Brévent car park). Please purchase your one-way ski lift ticket before meeting us.

Lionel Pouzadoux
Lionel is a high mountain guide and paragliding instructor. A seasoned alpinist, excellent climber and exceptional paragliding pilot, he leads all our extraordinary expeditions — including the paragliding landing on the summit of Mont Blanc in 2009. He is the expert of the Mont Blanc massif. He will share his passion for paragliding and his mountains with warmth and good humour.
Gérald
Paragliding instructor with 25 years of experience. In love with wide open spaces and freedom, he sailed extensively in the tropics before making a home on Réunion Island. Flying, kitesurfing, sailing — he always has a little wind in his sails. He dropped anchor in Chamonix to enjoy wild nature and share his passion for paragliding. He radiates calm and serenity. Pleasure, kindness and safety are his values.
Caroline Brille
Caroline has 34 years of experience in paragliding. She is a high-level competitive athlete with an exceptional track record: 15 podiums in the Paragliding World Cup, French Champion 5 consecutive years and World Vice-Champion in team paragliding. She is the first woman to have landed by paraglider on the summit of Mont Blanc. She takes care of you like family, and loves sharing her knowledge of the Chamonix valley and its wildlife. She is passionate about showing that flying is easy, gentle and accessible — just like the birds.

36 years of experience, sports teacher, instructor trainer, youth team coach for the French national team and league. Former French team member. Mental performance coach. Is tandem paragliding in Chamonix accessible to beginners?
Absolutely! The tandem paragliding experience is designed for beginners!
No special skills required!
With tandem flights supervised by qualified instructors, no prior experience is needed.
We just need your help at take-off — a short run and within a few steps you feel yourself lifted off the ground.
During the flight, you are seated very comfortably and can chat with your instructor. Every time, it is a pleasant surprise for our passengers — they never expect it to be such a relaxing and enjoyable activity!
What age can you fly?
From age 4, children are very receptive to the joy of flying like birds… We can take them flying if they truly want to. We will choose special conditions: early in the morning, in calm air conditions. Sometimes they even pilot the wing — they find it easy and great fun!
For seniors: there is no age limit for flying. Have you always dreamed of it? Don't hesitate — we will take good care of you. A few extra precautions will be taken. Please let us know at the time of booking. The tandem record is held by a 104-year-old woman! As with children, we will adapt the timing to suit.
I'm afraid of flying — can you convince me?
It is perfectly normal to feel nervous. Everyone has some apprehension before flying, to varying degrees. But as soon as you are in the air, you are seated so comfortably in your harness, and the sensation of flight is so gentle, that this anxiety disappears after just a few seconds — or a few minutes for the most anxious.
In the air, you are seated very comfortably and can chat easily with your instructor. The apprehension simply fades away.
Passengers are always surprised at how easy take-off is and how comfortable the experience feels.
We adapt to each passenger — a calm, relaxing flight or something with more adrenaline and aerobatics! Everyone is different, and we are here to listen and offer you the flight that suits you best.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable?
Sometimes weather conditions do not allow us to fly safely. If we know in advance (the day before, for example), we will contact you. Conditions can also change during the day, forcing us to cancel. If you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund.
We do not refund gift vouchers — they are valid for one year.
If we have not contacted you, your flight is going ahead as planned, and we ask that you come to the meeting point as agreed.
