In addition to getting your first taste of the High Mountain as well as glacier mountaineering's techniques, you will attempt a flight from the 4061m high summit of the Grand-Paradis. Situated in Italy, it is one of the most technically accessible "4000". Why not make it your fist 4000? ...
Day 1
After a warm-up flight in the Chamonix valley, you will catch a train to the "Mer de Glace" for an introduction, to the basic crampon techniques
Day 2 and 3
Following a High Mountain acclimatization flight originating at the Grand-Montets (3200m - 10,500ft), you will climb up to the Albert 1er refuge (2706m - 8,878m). You will the attempt the ascent of the Aiguille du Tour culminating at 3542m (11,620ft).
Day 4 and 5
It will then be off to the Aiguille du Midi (3842m - 12,605ft) where you will carry out a magnificient flight along the Aiguilles de Chamonix. During the afternoon, you will climb up to the Vittorio Emanuele refuge (2735m - 8,973ft). Early the next morning, you will begin your ascent of the Grand Paradis. Nearing the summit, you will no doubt feel a great anticipation grow inside you. Could it be the eagerness of taking-off from the summit?
